This Higher National Unit will introduce you to the main environmental effects of the use of the earth's resources by an increasing human population. Emphasis will be placed on identifying ways in which the sustainable use of resources can be achieved through action plans ranging from the international to individual scale.
Who the course is for:
This course is for S6 students and is ideally suited for you if you're interested in environmental matters, sustainability, and climate change and would like to work, study or volunteer in one of these areas. 听
Entry Requirements:
S6 pupils who have attained Maths and English National 5 (Grade A to C) and preferably 1 Higher.
Duration:
This course is designed to be completed over one academic year.听
Delivery:
This course will be delivered 100% remotely using online classrooms and assessment and will be flexible to cater to individual learning styles. Support will be provided by lecturers from our Wildlife & Conservation programmes.听
Qualification:
On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded one SQA accredited Higher National unit at SCQF level 7.听
